This nifty production includes the phenology and astronomy for each week of the month - “in the fourth week of October Chrysanthemums keep adding floral color to gardens as many varieties can withstand some frost and a temperature as low as 28F” - as well as record high and low temperatures for each day of the month for as long as records have been kept and precipitation and snow amounts. ![]() Taking the place of one of my favorite reference materials, my 1969 edition of the American Heritage Dictionary, which has disappeared, is my 2021 Minnesota Weatherguide Environment Calendar and Almanac published by the Freshwater Society. ![]()
