I used to have this problem all the time, but I finally figured out what causes it. Otherwise what sometimes happens is you'll be using ASIO and, the moment a windows sound chimes in or you play a song on your MP3 player, or open up youtube, your asio cuts off until either it resets or you restart the entire computer. You have to go into windoes properties and either turn off the output you intend to use or designate a different Default Audio channel.
